THE 60's Spider-Man animated series theme song! It had all the amazing wonders of trumpets and trombones, stupid drum/conga sounding fills and you just KNEW it was a bunch of classy women singing the song! It's fun and awesome. Has the feel of the Batman television show, but without the Adam West!
WORST? Also Spider-Man but that gay ass creation that sounds like Daft Punk wanted to be in White Snake in the 90's animated series.
I will say this, last Halloween my band played a show in which we all wore costumes. I wore a Spidey-suit and during a solo (I played lead guitar) I decided to just play the Spider-Man theme. It was one of the most fun moments of my life.
As a child of the 90's (well born in the 80's but whatever...) I'm just waiting for someone to claim that X-Men theme with that sick ass guitar line!
Keep it real, true believers!
ANNNNNNNND I just realized I read the question wrong so I am going to go ahead and add my answer that matters...
"Melted Vinyl" by Furthermore
They are a rap-ish group from the early 2000's and this song is all about mostly Marvel characters. They just of rap around about X-men mostly but it's a lot of fun and he is never referring to himself as super man or randomly saying the word "Kryptonite"
here is a sample of the lyrics:
"I work with whatever hand I'm dealt, I felt I needed more vinyl to melt and so it goes with help from super heroes, I felt I needed more vinyl to melt Mr. Fantastic could you reach around the corner down the block to the store and grab me a pop can, Torch is in the kitchen cooking something hot and Cyclops went to 7-11 to get some eye drops, while I'm waiting for Gambit and Thing to drop by, I got my magic mic in case Apocalypse should try to step up but my rep is uncanny and I heard Namor could flow the offshore I mean can he?"
it's about everyone's favorite schizophrenic marvel hero Bob "the Sentry" Reynolds
take a listen, I'm sure it's not everybody's musical cup of tea so it might make you feel like you are actually in the Sentry's head, but these sweaty little maniacs are super fun live and perform songs about pizza, ninja turtles, mega man, and I'm sure plenty of other comic references spliced with the torment of mental illness.
