In true lazy podcaster fashion, we want suggestions for our rotating segments! What do you nerds want to hear? For those of you who don't know, the first show of every month we host a rotating segment for our final segment of the show. What kind of stuff would you like to hear? Are we doing enough? Anything we can do better? Lay it on us if you would.

For example, I just thought up one called "Break it down again" where Joe and break down an event comic. What happened, who died, what was the friggin deal, etc... It could be for an event that just ended or a classic event that most might not remember or maybe never read.
Love the "classic event" angle. I'd like more segments on graphics novels or collected editions. Especially older classics (such as marvel masterworks, or the Epic Collections - of course stuff from all publishers). Those could also tie in with your "classic event" suggestion.
(I've been listening to the pod for a few months now. Love it. It's by far the best comics podcast I've heard. Thanks for giving me some comic book goodness each week!)

"Power Trip" Review the use of a different power in comics, the tropes that accompany them, and some rating system for them. (Potential ratings of: 1. Practicality: Would you want them in real life? 2. Ranking: Comparative power level to other powers in the superhero universe. 3. Applicability: Is this a pretty useful all around power or a niche power looking for some use?)
"You have to buy this!" That one issue we must have. If you don't have, you don't know comics.
My suggestion sounds similar to this but bear with me...
"A must read!" That one issue that everyone who loves comic books MUST read. Whether you are a fan of the hero or team or not, the best issue that sums up the best qualities. Based on art, writing, publishing, etc, why the particular issue should be read. For example, I think everyone should read Avengers Vol.3 issue 22 the final confrontation with Ultron. Written by Kurt Busiek, drawn by George Perez, etc etc. Discussion/analysis ensues!

The Wizard Way Back Machine. Pull an old Wizard magazine from this month and discuss! The issue itself: What was hot? Who was not? Did they hype the right things? Did they neglect an emerging milestone? What it means today: Are we seeing a repeated mistake? Have we encountered that storyline again? What items do they cover that are still in continuity? Are those writers and artists still working? (Or for the much older issues: What happened to the kid who submitted artwork printed in the issue?)
I'm not a Wizard fan, but I still get a kick out of flipping through those old issues.
A flipping through previews segment. Go through the latest issue of previews and highlight what you're excited about in time for the listenerds to preorder. You could highlight some lesser known publishers or titles during this segment as well.
