Yes! First of all, I also belatedly applaud the return of Zombie Blaine! But holy crap indeed, episode 15 was packed with stuff. And damn Liv looks weird when she's not pale with white hair. I haven't seen last night's episode yet, saving that for tonight, although I can't hardly wait.
I totally missed that reference! I read about it online later on, but never noticed it while watching. A bit bummed about that actually, it might be worth rewatching it just to catch it. Of course I did recognize Ken Marino. And I really liked all the Rob Thomas stuff.
But yes it was bonkers! So much happened! And I did not see that end coming, it opens up a lot of possibilities going forward. Now that I think about it, I did not see a lot of things coming, I kept expecting them to zig and then they would zag, very exciting.
I don't know why they killed Drake. His whole story line with Mr. Boss feels unfinished and pointless now.
Also I will keep watching, but the direction they seem to be taking the story to at the very end does not thrill me.
You're so right about Drake, I didn't get it at all. I did not even believe that was him actually. I kept thinking that he was taken away for the third batch of the cure and there were two romero'd zombies in there, hence he must've been not in there. And I didn't recognize him at first but I'm pretty sure it was him. But there was so much happening that I did not even consider the implications, but you are right. It is a waste of that whole storyline.
I have never read the books, but I have enjoyed the show. That being said, I am not sure if I am a fan of the way they have gone. I guess I preferred the smaller show than the worldwide explosion the 3rd season finale gave us.

Yeah, I'm a bit worried about that myself. I liked what they did but I hope this doesn't mean they'll get rid of the killer/brain of the week format. But I find it hard to imagine how that'll fit in the new status quo.
