I liked bits and pieces of Ultraverse. FIREARM is the highlight for me. I thought NIGHTMAN looked cool... until the saxophone bits. Solitaire was kind of cool. I liked the idea of the ALL-NEW EXILES title (mix of Ultraverse + Marvel characters). I'd be more interested in a brief Ultraverse revamp than this facacta MONSTERS UNITED story.

YES! I followed Chris Ulm & Tom Mason through Eternity, Malibu, and Ultraverse gigs because they carried on the Robotech title and I loved them for it.
A lot of these feel like New Universe angles, right? Englehart wrote NU titles, but the Strangers angle (-strangers from different walks of life united through powers gained from an event) is basically DP7.
I miss Malibu, generally. They seemed excited and happy to be making comics. Great merch.
I also remember buying the first few Ultraforce for the Perez art. And I also liked Nightman. He was unique in that every time he encountered an enemy he'd add to his arsenal or costume based on his experiences. He was always evolving. I thought that was cool.

i loved the Ultraverse! I remember really loving Hardcase, who was essentially Wonder Man (actor/stuntman turned superhero) if I recall. I never saw the Firearm movie, but I loved the comic (James Robinson!). I also really liked Prime, but the recent news about co-creator Gerard Jones casts a bit of a pall over that memory.
